In this chapter, we are introduced to a new puppy, named R-il, who has just been adopted by a German shepherd named K-Ra-il. The puppy is very excited to be reunited with his new owner, and he begins to bark at his master, who is getting closer and closer to the bridge where he was adopted. The dog, however, is not so excited. He is upset that he has violated the law by not being allowed to choose the new owner of his life. The owner of the dog also takes responsibility for the dog's actions, and the dog will be born again as a dog, but he will not be allowed to be reborn as a human. The law stipulates that a dog must be happy in order to be adopted, but the law also stipulates that the dog must have a new owner within one year of the original owner's death. If the dog is adopted, he will be able to go back to school.
