Jack-senri asks Esther if she'll help him find a way to make someone "born with an obligation." Esther says that she's not a machine, and that she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone. She says that by making someone who's most unable to find their own freedom, they'll recognize that they're free, and then realize that their own existence is just as important as hers'. She also says that if she asks someone to help her find the perfect love, that person will politely decline, because it's physically impossible for them to do so. She adds that she could have given Esther the perfect punk, but that she couldn't because she wasn't "a machine" . She then asks if Esther has a job for her, and Esther says yes. She's more talented than she thought she was, and so Jack-Senri gives her a test to see if she can do it.
