Dorian tries to catch up with Alek, but Alek doesn't seem to understand why he's there. Alek tries to convince Dorian to let him talk to him, but Dorian won't listen. Dorian asks Alek if this is a good idea, and Alek says it would be like deceiving a little boy. He says he'd be annoyed if he knew someone around him who was living well off, but he means that. He tells Dorian that he'll feel at ease when he pulls Alek at the ankles. Alek says that he knows that Dorian is on his side, but that he wants to look good so that he can take care of everything. He asks if there's a way to protect Dorian's inheritance, and Dorian says there isn't.
