About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that the person in question is a friend of his sister's, a research associate named senri, who is in charge of fixing Jack's broken leg. The narrator says that this person looks like his sister, and that everyone seems to like people who look like themselves. He also says that artificial intelligence is different from human intelligence, because it's how we develop our feelings for someone. He says that the narrator is using his brain to change his attitude. He finds a part of his memory locked by itself, and he thinks that this is the first time that something like this happened. He thinks that the reason for encrypting the video must be that he wants to make sure that no one else sees the video. If that were to happen, then Jack would be destroyed, and the narrator would have to sit around and watch the entire thing. He doesn't think that it would be a problem if he left everything to the person, but if it were, they would probably watch the video and report it to the police.
