It's the middle of the night, and Jack is trying to figure out what to do with himself. He's bleeding from his leg, and he can't figure out how to get out of the way. He doesn't have a gun, so he's going to have to cut off his leg with a knife or something. Jack is all, "screw it, I'm going to stab you in the leg with my gun" . He apologizes, and says he'll apologize again.
