About This Chapter
Three years ago, Adam made a deal with the devil, and now he's ready to do his part of the bargain. He asks the team leader if they're going to continue working like this. The team leader tells him that they've already done their part, and Adam blames himself for not doing his part. He tells Adam that the old men want his soul, and that's why they'll make it difficult on the team just because he wants to talk to the team manager. Adam says that he'll go to soothe the manager and make sure he apologizes the next day. He says that young workers in general don't seem to have any sense these days. Young workers, he says, have no sense. They're only good at sucking up to their bosses and staying in their jobs. The only people who need skill in the office are those who've been belittled by their superiors and disappear.
