About This Chapter
When xiahou returns to Pansang town, he finds that Ci Yao has gone on the run. He tells her that he will recommend her to someone else, but that it will be some time before someone can be found to fill her position. He introduces himself as Mud, the new trigram specialist, and says that he looks forward to making his acquaintance. He says that the informant is very mean looking, and that if the authorities knew about the robbery, her career might be ruined. He then goes on to say that the vermilion circle on the man's portrait is a sign that he is a wanted person, and not a wanted criminal. He asks the girl why she is causing trouble, and she says that she has no idea what she is doing. He goes on and on about how he has been chasing the man from Pansang to here for a long time, and finally he has finally caught him. He wants to give him a piece of his mind, and asks if he can say that to his face.
