The Governess congratulates the young woman on her success. She compares herself to her younger self, when she was illiterate and didn't have much in the way of education. However, she learned the word "flame" from practicing all day and night. She worked hard to learn the word so that she could prove her worth, but the imperial court wanted her dead.
