About This Chapter
Dr. Sunwoo Jin arrives at the school to conduct an English performance assessment of the students. He is surprised to find that the students are not interested in the exam, but are instead interested in eating at a food truck. He tells the students that their parents are in the baking business and that there are over 1,000 food trucks all over the country. Even if their parents do not allow them to sell bread from the trucks, they would still be able to make enough money to buy bread from them. The doctor is amazed at the young man's lack of interest in his studies. He says that he followed the rules and did not seem to be uptight about his dreams and future. He adds that he is not in school anymore and that his future is bright. He asks the doctor if he can help him with his homework, and the doctor replies that he will. The young man asks if the doctor is a customer and if he has to tell him anything. He does not know if he is being asked for an exam or a performance assessment, but he does know that his parents and teachers want him to become a doctor. He explains that he wants to make money after he graduates, but that becoming a doctor is too long a career for him.
