About This Chapter
It's 5:00 a.m., and the robot is ready to go to work. He's been busy all weekend, and he's finally ready to leave. The robot tells us that he'll be back in a few minutes. He says that he hopes that emmie likes the park where they're going, because it'll help them find each other. He also says that if emmie doesn't like the park, they'll run out of energy before he can find her. He tells us to find the sheep on the sky with his name on it, because that's where he can see him. And then he says that the world is "the best world" . And if it wasn't for his little robot, he'd say that this world is even better than the human one. He then tells us how much energy emmie has been having lately, and how strange it is that she seems to be getting better all the time. He wonders if this is because she's getting better with the pain meds, or if she just wants to be more human-like, or something. He suggests that maybe the robots are more used to being human than they are to being robots, and says that it's a good thing they've been ahead of schedule.
