The girls are talking to each other, and one of them asks the other if they should go talk to Henry. The girl says that she doesn't think they should, because Henry is so handsome. The other girl agrees, saying that Henry is "soo handsome" , and the girls head back to their rooms. The narrator tells the girls that she's getting older, and that she wishes she could be touched more. She wishes that every day were her birthday, and she wishes that she could hug Henry on his birthday. She also tells them that she can make a cake for her birthday every year, which is a big deal, since she moved into Henry's house on that day. The cake is pretty, though, because she made it herself. She's happy that she has the strength to hold Henry, and says that next year, she'll be able to hold him longer. She says that sometimes, Henry does things that other people don't do, like kiss her on the forehead, or offer handshakes to other people. But sometimes, he does it himself, like when Asher is crying because he's been dumped by Julia Bell, and he kisses her on her forehead twice. She thinks that's because Henry doesn' t want to be touched, and sometimes he just wants to be with her. She wonders why she is the only one who doesn'tached like that, and wonders why he just does it to her, too.
