In this chapter, the three sisters reminisce about the past three years. They reminisce about how they used to go to school together, and how each of them would get the ring from the other on the day of the big day. When the sisters ask why their father threw away all the music they bought for her, she tells them that he threw it away because she kept playing it all over the place, embarrassing him. She tells him that she threw them away because he kept on playing them out in the neighborhood, and that he would have thrown them in the water if he hadn't gone to the skies. She says that she would have been happy if he just didn't go to the sky. She also tells the sisters that they have to find the music because she will cry when she hears it again. The sisters decide that they will eat if they get hungry.
