In this chapter, we learn that the ghost's name is Selia, and she is the daughter of Selia's father. Selia is a young woman who has just turned twenty-one years old. She has just returned from a diving trip in the Pacific Ocean, where she had collided with a wave. She is horrified to learn that her father has been killed in a diving accident, and that her mother is also a victim of the same accident. She asks Selia where her father is, and Selia tells her that he is living in Jeju. She wonders why he is having trouble breathing, and wonders what to do about it.
