In this short scene, the protagonist explains that he wants to live a normal life. He wants to go to school, go to work, and marry when he's ready. He's also looking forward to the day when he will be able to "meet someone i love" and "live like everyone else." This is the first time the protagonist has been able to express his feelings for someone. He realizes that he has only three days left to get what he wants. He wishes he could sing a song about it. He says he can make Kim hyesung "warmer" and kiss him, but he'll probably never believe him. He also says that he thinks they should break up with his ex-boyfriend, who he'd dated for three years. Kim says that the more he liked Kim, the "harder" it was to "support his dreams"
