About This Chapter
After the kiss, the narrator realizes that he's already been doing what he was supposed to be doing, which is sighing. He's not sure if this is because he has something on his mind, or if he just doesn't have time to think about it. He tells himself that if he keeps sighing like that, he'll let his happiness out. The narrator then tells us that when he hugged Anri, he thought about telling her to get off him, but his voice wasn't saying anything to her, so he didn't know what to say. He asks the teacher to help him, and the teacher tells him that they've made it to the school in time for the afternoon classes. He also tells the narrator that the view is better from the school buildings, and that the wind is stronger in winter than it is in tokyo. He then tells the teacher that he can't go to class without Anri's consent, because he'd be lonely without her. The teacher assures him that there's no way he can go without her consent, since the school is in the middle of winter, and he can see the view from the other side of the school building. He says that he sees the view every day just a few months before, but he feels so heartless that he feels like he has to look at an ancient history album to feel sorry for himself.
