In this chapter, we learn that Roger is on a mission, and that he wants to catch up on the latest episodes of Gossip Girl so that he can focus on his mission and not worry about his feelings for Olivia. Olivia, however, does not have time for romantic thoughts, and she is worried that her life will be ruined if she does not get over her infatuation with Roger. She wonders if it would be best to ask him to walk her home with her alone, so that she might be able to concentrate on her feelings for him. She is also worried that she will be disappointed if he does not respond to her. She asks him if he is trying to let her study, and he replies that he is not trying to, but that he does know what will make her heart race. Olivia wonders if he would think it is too forward of her for him to say it, but he says that it does not sound like it does. She says that if she said that, she would have to wait another day, but she wants him to do it now. She tells him that she knows his attraction to her is not just physical, but also magical, because he wrote the lyrics for the show.
