On the day that he's accepted into the prep school, Tommo is thrilled to find out that he has been accepted. He's also excited because he doesn't think he'll be in Tommo's class, which means that he can finally study with his crush. He asks Tommo what's up with the mysterious force in her eyes, and he wonders why he didn't tell him about it at the fair. He also wonders why she's wearing such a strange outfit, and wonders if it's because of the bump on her legs. He wonders if the bump is because of her not having a boyfriend, and then wonders if she is happy that Tommo isn't having a girlfriend. Tommo wonders if he should step aside for his crush, but he knows that's not the best thing for him to do, since he'd be selfish.
