About This Chapter
The two students discuss their upcoming exams. They are both worried that they will not be able to concentrate on their studies if they are forced to study together because of the other's presence at school. The two argue about whether or not they should study together, but they decide that it would be better if they studied separately because they would not have to deal with the distractions of other people's homes. They argue about the importance of studying as hard as they can, and about the fact that they are both studying alone. They discuss how they will both be disappointed if they fail the exam, and they argue about what they should do to prepare for the exam. They decide that they should draw a line in the sand to indicate the direction of the test, and then they should ask each other to do the same thing.
