Ruchi and Hirokazu continue to trudge through Chapter 68. Ruchi tells Hiroko that he's been studying for eleven years and that he can't figure out how to do any of the things they're trying to teach him. He's going to learn to do one thing, he says, and that's how he'll get through the rest of his life. He tells Ruchi that he won't stop until he can do something, and he promises to show Ruchi how much he means to him.
