About This Chapter
Hirokazu is here to ask for forgiveness for what he's done to his son. He's here because he wants to apologize for the way he treated his son back in the sixth grade. Hiroki says that he can't tell her the whole story because he was in high school with her. He says that if she had run away, he'd have killed her, but he doesn't have another chance. He tells her that he had plenty of opportunities to speak to her, and that he rejected her. She asks him if he remembers the note book she gave him, and he says that it was in the book. She says that she's been creepin' him out, and she wants to know why he came to see her, since she can hear his voice. She tells him that it's just an excuse for her to come to see him. He admits that it would have been better if they'd been in the same class back then, since they could communicate through hurting each other. But now, when he thinks about it, he feels like he hasn't changed a bit since then. He wants to try to be friends with his son again, and apologize for hurting his son so badly.
