The narrator wakes up to find that his uncle has woken up and is snoring. The narrator realizes that he has lost a lot of blood and that his body's defense mechanism is protecting him from his attackers. He tells himself that he's about to die and that he doesn't have any grudges against his dead uncle. He begins to bang his fists against the table, hoping that his fists will be stronger than his opponent's. He realizes that his strength is not as good as it once was and that it's time for him to get his revenge.
