About This Chapter
The next morning, the crew is back in the lab. They're excited to see Dr. Coppelius, who's been working on a new version of the magic drug for a long time. The two men reminisce about when they last saw each other, and the two men agree that they've both aged a lot since then. They talk about how Dr. co-ppelius stole their entire stock of aether, which is the drug they're using to make their new selves. Co-op says that he made the drug himself, and that it works just as well as the original. He's grateful to the man who made it, and he's even more grateful for the fact that it took him a century to get to this point. He says that if he'd been able to do it himself, he would have been a hundred years ahead of anyone else. He also says that the chimera is in the laboratory, reading Einstein's theories of relativity. The guys are psyched to be back at the lab, but they'll have to find a way to get there without an elevator.
