Back at the plant, the women discuss the impending birth of Miss Ibaki, who is due to give birth shortly. They decide to go to a hospital nearby, where they will be able to take care of her and her baby. The women are interrupted by the arrival of a third member of the cleanup crew, who tells them that they are all co-members of the same team. The other two members of the team go missing frequently, and the women wonder why they do not get along better with one another. The third member tells the women that the area surrounding the plant is a "danger zone" because of the high levels of radioactive waste and the fact that Fukasaku has been able to escape from the area. He says that the only people who can enter the area are the men of the first division, who are the only ones able to do anything about it. He adds that they would never help anyone to try to "destroy the world" by destroying the world. They go to the entrance of the plant and find that there is a road leading south.
