OKunitama and the others go to the shrine to search for Ayame. They find that the whole area is contaminated with high levels of radiation. They also find out that some people have succumbed to the disease, and that others are still missing. Okayunitama wonders about the source of the radiation, and wonders who is responsible for the development of the protective suits for the survivors. He also asks about the man who developed the suits, and he learns that he is a senior scientist at the electric and tri-star industries. He is also the father of the original barrier suits, which were developed 35 years ago.
