In this short scene, Hiroshi and his companions are walking through the ghost town of Shimokitacho when they run into the vice principal, Mishima, and the schoolmistress, Ibara Naruse. Hiroshi tells Mishima that he is a survivor of the accident and that he should try to slow down his breathing. Mishima tells him that the school girls are the only ones who can go anywhere.
