About This Chapter
One Sunday morning, Dora and the girls are having a drink together. Dora tells her friend, Kimura, that she's having a good time. Kimura tells her that he's cheating on her with another girl, and Dora is all, "that's disgusting" . She tells Kimura to shut up, and she tells him to chill out. She says she used to get into fights all the time in her childhood because her parents didn't love her, so she just wanted to be strong. Now, she says, "I'm warm" , and drinking with the girls reminds her of a guy she used know. He used to be a regular at the bar, but he got into trouble with the gang and got killed. She doesn't know what's going on with him now, but she hopes she'll get to know him in the afterlife. She's not sure if he is dead or not, but it's clear that he was a good guy, and that he used to come to the bar and get drunk. He was a gentle guy, though, and he'll probably never come back to the club again. He's definitely not dead, but Dora says, and this is the first time she feels "warm" in her life. She thinks of a gig for the girls, where they can have a free hug for 50 hours.
