The lord mayor welcomes linxu to the city. He tells ziyu that he will name him the prime minister of the city and will make him the high priest. linxus response is that he has nothing to do with the request. The lord asks if the qi of the koi clan could bring prosperity and wealth. .linxus replies that the koi cant use the "qi of godly fortune" with any good reason. He compares the request to asking him to perform the same trick for him back at the "sea of fallen dawn" and wonders why the lord won't listen to him. He asks the lord mayor to forgive him and let the two go.
