It's sad how someone who gave so much to mankind ended up this way. White Fang and the others go into the secret chamber. They don't find anything there, but they do find some purple-tier items, which they can use to thank the emperor for his kind gesture. The handwriting on the item is from the emperor, but it turns out that the heavenly treasure is actually hidden somewhere else and divided up into three separate stashes. So, all of this stuff is not the treasure of the heavenly dragon, but of the emperor himself. This is a good thing, because if the emperor were to die, someone else would have the loot of the purple tier items.
