This chapter opens with a conversation between yuechi and his father. . He tells his father that he does not expect his son to live in a place like this. He also tells him that his son is too stubborn and that he would not have been so eager to come back if he had not heard about his sister's strength. He then tells his son that he is very happy to see his son grow up healthy. He says that his mother did all she could to protect him, but that his father is the strongest man in the world.
