The chapter opens with a chirp of a demon hunter's voice. It's the mortal enemy of the koto-users, and the demon hunter is trying to get revenge on the previous owner of the body. The demon hunter tells him that he's a bad man, and that the only thing he cares about is getting revenge. The two of them sit down to have tea, but the stairs creak and they're about to leave for tea when the bell rings.
