About This Chapter
One night after they return from a trip to the "hakone" , the gang yawns and waits for the return of Nime. Nime is still alive, but he's not in the picture. He thanks the gang for the food, and says he'll use it to rustle up some food for his sister. He's off to find out what's going on with the "senate" . He wonders why they're sending Nime to "the other side" when he can read and tell everyone what he knows. He also wonders why he has to be sent when his family members are still alive. They're all "good-tives," he says, "natured after people." Nime says he doesn't feel like dreaming about his sister lately, and wonders if that's because she's really like her father. He asks the gang to get some damaged goods so he can "steeling your heart" for the sake of revenge. He says he heard a lot of bad things from Nime, and he wants to "get the feeling" that he can't be "completely evil." He says there's "nothing left" in Nime's heart.
