In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito's shop is in the middle of a civil war, and that the revolutionaries are using it as a staging ground for their assault on the city. The shop's owner, Hiroyuki, is furious at the revolutionaries for treating him like a second-class citizen. He tells them that they're making him work for nothing and that he'll have to kill them if they try to attack him again. Hiroyuki tells the shop owner that he doesn't have a place for amateurs in his shop, because he's too busy to teach a third-rate apprentice.
