The only way out of the "taoist sect" had been to destroy the evil path. Now, however, the sect wants to protect the "evil path's" descendants. This means that the "happy and peaceful days" of the sect will be destroyed. This is because of the fact that the child the sect took in is the son of the father who made the parents fall off of the cliff. The boy begs his father to leave the sect, but his father refuses, saying that he will have to sacrifice his life to do so.
