The moon clan elders are gathered in front of the moon palace. The chief kneels before them and asks them to come in and tell him what's going on. He tells them that the guide has just arrived and that he's not far away from the village. He's just there to observe the situation. The guide looks suspicious, the chief says. He wants to give the elders the information so that they can judge the situation and decide whether or not to continue the journey.
