In this short scene, Shmoop and his friend, the Thane of Ravenspurgh, are trying to get the heck out of the cave where the moon bride is hiding out. They've got a plan: they're going to attack the moon-dweller and take her back to the moon, just like the other guards have done before. Shmo and Thane are both confused, because they've both been captured by the same gang of robbers. They can't figure out why their punches and kicks aren't working on the Thane, who's still unconscious. They try to get him to wake up, but he's too scared to do so. The Thane tries to calm him down, but the girl won't let him. The two of them try to figure out what's going on, and the Thane tells them that he and the girl are the only two guards who've been captured and put in the cave. He's also the one who was ordered to stay at the post
