About This Chapter
In this short scene, a young boy, who has fallen asleep in his bed, is awakened by the sound of a woman's voice. The voice, which he recognizes as Milady, tells him that he has been badly injured the night before and that his master has been the one who has helped him. Milady urges him to eat the food that has been prepared for him, but he refuses, saying that he is not hungry. She then tells him to go to sleep and that he should not forget to eat Milady's food. She tells him, however, that he must make sure that he eats the food the next day, because it is good for his health. She also says that she hopes that he will not waste the efforts of someone who she hopes he understands. She says that her master was the person who helped him that night, and that she is sorry that he did not think to take care of his health
