The narrator tells us that a bunch of crows have just left the village. He asks Gunju what's up, and Gunju tells him that the crows managed to escape. The narrator then asks if the crows are the ones who attacked the village, and the crow replies that they are. He tells Gunju to come down and talk to him, because he's worried about what they're going to do to the village now that the woman is gone.
