As the battle rages on, Selia tries to convince Mina that she's a better fighter than the rest of the girls. She points out that Selia is just a "muscle brained gorilla" , and that Mina is just as strong as any of the other girls. Selia, however, doesn't take this to mean that Mina isn't a good fighter, but rather that Mina's ego is getting the better of her. She tells Mina that if she leaves the group, it'll be a big loss to the Ariadne because she promised to be a future knight. Mina reminds Selia that the scholarship she was given was for her to study law, not for her fighting skills.
