The narrator explains that the time machine has been in use for two years and that Bozu has been using it to test it. He says that now he can forget about it and go to his meeting with nodoka. The narrator tells Bozu that he'll see him later, but first, he's going to test the machine with a kiss. The kiss works, the narrator says, and he doesn't have to say a word about it. Bozu says that the kiss works because it's so deep. He's not sure if nodoka has a chance with her, but the narrator points out that she is too young to be a girl. He also says that they're going to have to ask her something about how she feels about the kiss, but he won't tell her what it is because he can't say anything about the exam.
