Asuna and the other students discuss the upcoming school festival, which is to take place in a few days. Asuna says that she needs more time to prepare for the festival, but she doesn't know how much longer she will have to wait. She wonders if Natsumi's health is improving, and wonders if he'll be able to push himself too hard when he gets back to school. The other students chime in, saying that they think he's feeling better, too, and that he seems to have a friend in his old age in Japan. The students wonder what's going on in the world, and how they can talk about it. They're interrupted by the sound of a girl's voice, which reminds them that they're in a girls' dorm. They wonder if it's the same girl they met in the first place, and they wonder if she's really that different from the other girls they've met. The girl says that when she found out that Natsi was a wizard, she was really excited, too. She hopes that when Natsi finds out that she can use magic, she'll feel better. Natsi and the girl discuss how they haven't seen each other in six years, and Natsi wonders if they'll ever see each other again
