This chapter's epigraph is from a poem by a famous poet, Henry David Thoreau. In the poem, Thoreau says that if you're not careful, you'll end up like a lot of other people. He's not saying that he's the best poet in the world, but he is saying that you should be careful about what you say and how you act. In other words, if you don't say what you mean, you might as well not say anything at all at all. Thoreau's poem is about a young girl who's about to be raped by her uncle's older brother. She's so young
