About This Chapter
The guys are having a hard time keeping up with the pace of the battle because of the alternating currents. The guys finally realize that they can't keep up with them on the battlefield because they're using an alternating current instead of a direct current, which means they have to shoulder a lot of the pain of the feedback from the other guys. That's right, the guys are using the same alternating current they've been using since the beginning of the game. They're not using the direct current because they don't want to hurt the guy who's using it, but because they want to use it for their own selfish ends. So they switched from the direct-current to the alternating-current, and now they have no choice but to fight with each other. This is a big deal, because it means that the guys will have to fight against each other for the rest of their lives, which is a pretty big deal when you're a kid fighting against a guy who doesn't know what he's talking about. So the guys decide to fight at a certain spot on the deck, about 200 feet away from them. The guy who runs there first is probably going to die, so they'll have to wait for someone else to get there first. The dude who runs to the spot is probably not going to make it back to the battle, so the guys settle for fighting at the spot where they started. They all agree that they'd rather die than fight with one another, and the dude who gets there first will get to use the core he got from the buddha spider earlier in the game, which he can use to his advantage. He'll use it to his own advantage, and he'll let the guy he runs to die first get the core to use too, too. That way, they can all have a good laugh
