In this chapter, we get a brief look at the state of affairs at the battlefront. We're told that the battle is going well, and that the entire western region of Japan is under the control of the mighty trident. We also learn that Benet has told the guys that she's going to check out the battle scene, and they're supposed to go check it out. We learn that she wants to go and kill some skulls, but that's not what Benet wants to do. This is the first time we've heard of Benet's intentions, and it's clear that she doesn't trust the guys.
