About This Chapter
This chapter is all about danger, and it's all in the guise of a soliloquy. It's about the danger of being alone in the middle of the jungle, and about the fact that the whole team has been working hard to get ready for the next battle. The whole team is working hard, too, and they're getting ready for another battle. Everyone's sweating, and the whole group is getting ready to fight. The guy who's supposed to be the leader of the group, the guy who used to be known as "the afghan tiger," is kind of bummed out. He's worried that his son, kun, has gone easy on his arch-rival, kogara sumaru, and that he's set him up for a big defeat in the upcoming battle. He asks his son if he can help him, but the guy says he can't, because he'll have to train with the other guys all the time. Plus, he doesn't have a lot of time to do it, because the guy just disappears in the morning. The dude is bummed out that he and his buddy are leaving, and he wants them to stop playing with him. They're too excited to hang out with him, he says, because they don't realize that his pal is coming behind the "иате" of a king.
