About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a soliloquy about the power of time and flame. It's about time and fire, and it's all about the laws of physics. The chapter ends with a quote from Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice: "Time can, also, spring / And flame / Life can also / Spring to flame." This is a reference to the fact that time is a constant and that flame can be extinguished at any moment. The passage ends with the line, "Not actually stopping time, and the trick." The passage goes on to say that time can also be "spring to flame" and that life can also "spring" to "time." Time can be stopped, but not actually stopped. Time is the law of motion, and fire is a law of time. Time and fire are laws of the universe, and they can be used to control time and energy. Time, time, time again. This is the first time that we've seen the two of them working together. They've been working together for a long time, but now that they're enemies, they don't want to talk to each other anymore. Now, the guy who worked with them doesn't seem to like them any more. He's just doing the same old thing over and over again. The dude says that he'd never seen them work together before, but that's because he saw the guy work with the young master. He thinks that the guy is still a keeper, and that he can still move around and prevent people from coming up to him. That's a good sign, the dude says, because he
