About This Chapter
This chapter begins with a discussion of the concept of the "man-beast" , which is a term used to refer to a large, living creature. In this case, the man-beast is the largest living thing on the face of the earth. If the moth moves, ten other teams will be able to assemble to fight the giant man. The man argues that this is not a good idea, as the man's team is not strong enough to fight ten other giant men. He also points out that if they lose, it will be five times worse than if they win. He then goes on to explain that he doesn't like the fact that people base their self-esteem on their physical size. He says that he'd rather be around people who don't base their own self-worth on their own physical strength. This is the first time he's ever seen a man riding a giant man, and he thinks that the man looks like a comically dressed man. He tells the group that they're a bunch of idiots for thinking that a man with such a giant body could ride a giant bike. He promises to send them brand new clothes if they continue to think of him as a giant.
