About This Chapter
Back at the party, D'Arcy complains to the wicked that he's being too polite. He's not the idealist, he says, and he doesn't want to depend on the people who show up to see him perform. He wants to make sure that Dio is protected from the worst instincts of the crowd, so he gives them back. He also asks if they can have access to the party's footage for the upcoming documentary. He says that he needs to speak to Baph, but he can't let them see Dio because there are no other people there. Dio is back, he tells D' Arcy, and they're all back together again. D'arcy wishes that Red Sister wasn't around so much, and that she didn't have so much knowledge crammed in her head right now. He tells them that he and Dio have been talking about it for a week, but that they stopped talking after a week and laughed about it. They're not going to let Dio go. He asks why they let her talk to him like that, and she says that it's because she's afraid he'll kill her if he ever comes near them again. She says that if Dio comes near her again, she'll break his body and kill him.
