In the middle of the night, Lingfei, the fifth generation disciple of the Second Senior Master, tells his younger sister, Ling-ying, that he will return to the place where he was last seen. He tells her to hurry over to meet the senior brothers, who are waiting for him. Lingfei tells his sister that he is her martial uncle, and asks her to give him three drops of consecrated dew. He then gives her a purple mushroom, which revives the dead. He gives her the mushroom, but she refuses to take it back, saying that it is not given to her without a reason.
