In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the ghost of the "holy lord of magnolia" . The ghost tells the story of how he and his companions were able to open the tomb, and how they are now able to do so again. He explains that the three holy places have agreed that they will not kill anyone who tries to enter the tomb. He tells the ghost that he can break free from the binding of the holy lord and use his power to do just that.
