About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the place where the immortal manor resides is called the "Jade Dragon Valley" because of its proximity to the nine-yin mountain and the jade dragon valley. We learn that there are huge trees in the valley, and that the barrier between the valley and the manor is so strong that it will kill the giants who touch it. We also learn that a white tiger, who touched the barrier, instantly died. The white tiger's death means that the power of the giants is still beyond the abilities of the protagonist. The protagonist, however, is able to enter the manor and find a token that commands the courtyard. He also learns that the protagonist has been waiting four years for this token, and he is glad to see him again. He tells the protagonist that he has been able to improve from an innate realm to the limbo realm, but he is unable to open the gate of the manor or walk the road. He asks the protagonist if there is any inheritance in the manor, and the protagonist explains that he can obtain one token from each of the six symbols on the token. The tokens allow the protagonist to enter and exit the manor as he wishes, while the tokens allow him to unlock the door to the library. He decides to give the protagonist a try on the road, since he wants to know if it is dangerous.
